I am a doctoral candidate and research assistant in the Biophotonics and Optical Radiology Laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. I am currently doing research on Optical Tomography which is a new biomedical imaging modality that uses “light” to see inside of the body.
I was born, raised, and still reside in Yonkers, NY. I attended grammar school and high school in Bronx, NY at St. Barnabas Elementary School and Mt. St. Michael Academy. I attended college at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY, where I earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering. I am married to my high school sweetheart Kristen. My academic interests include Biomedical Imaging, Biophotonics, Biomedical Instrumentation, and Analog, and Digital Circuit Design. As far as personal interests go, I enjoy fantasy and science fiction books and films. In sports, I like the NY Giants, and I’m a die-hard NY Yankees fan. Feel free to look around and find out more about me.
